Time Expansion Bat Detectors

Pettersson D-240 Time Expansion Detector This state of the art time expansion detector allows you to record 1.7 second samples of bat calls and record into digital memory for play back at a time expansion factor of x10 (17 seconds). Time expanded calls may be recorded to tape via the detectors tape socket. When using stereo headphones the time expanded call may be heard on one channel and the heterodyne call on the other. Pocket sized with fully backlit digital LCD display this is the best detector for combining portability with comprehensive features. Tuning range 10-120kHz. Delivery time up to 3 weeks although stock is usually held.

Pettersson D-240x Time Expansion Detector The D240X truly is a state of the art bat detector utilising the most advanced Electret microphones. Both time expansion and heterodyne capabilities allow the D240X to analyse and record all aspects of a bat's call. Features include the automatic or manual triggering of the detector (with a variable threshold setting) and time expansion settings of 0.1, 1.7 and 3.4 seconds. The detector will also automatically control an attached tape recorder, through a relay, allowing it to be left in-situ to remotely record bat activity.

Pettersson D-980/3 Professional Bat Detector The D-980 is a combined heterodyne, frequency division and time expansion detector, with advanced time expansion trigger functions and signal storage time of 3 seconds. Time expansion ratio: 10 times (selectable 10 or 20 times as option). Sampling frequency: 350 kHz. Frequency range 10-200 kHz (time expansion system 10-150 kHz). Outputs: 4 x RCA/phono jacks for HF and AF outputs (tape recorder). 1 x 3.5mm jack for headphones.
