A high quality, low noise ultrasonic bat detector used in universities, conservation and environment departments and by thousands of amateur naturalists throughout the world. This detector is comparable to the Pettersson D100 and represents excellent value for money.
Pettersson D-100
The D-100 is the entry level heterodyne detector manufactured by Pettersson. An excellent device it employs three microphones of two types (electret & piezo) to give maximum sensitivity across its tuneable range of 10-120kHz. Complete with headphone socket and tape recorder socket this small hand held detector is ideal for the first time user and yet is sensitive enough to be employed for serious bat research


Pettersson D-200
The D200 is an advanced heterodyne detector with a fully backlit digital LCD frequency display. It is tuneable within the range 10-120kHz making it suitable for detecting insectivorous bat species (Microchiroptera). The pocket sized case has the tuning and volume controls placed on the side making it easy to adjust in the field. Two 3.5mm sockets enable the attachment of headphones and connection to a tape recorder.
Magenta MK11 Detector
This build-your-own bat detector kit is great value and uses quality components. The tuning range of the detector is 20-140kHz which is suitable for detecting all British bat species. Powered by PP3 battery (not supplied).
The Microbat Detector
