Frequency Division Bat Detectors

Batbox Duet Bat Detector
This is a dual functioning bat detector, with both heterodyne and frequency division, designed for single handed operation. It has a frequency range of 17 to 125kHz and allows recording to DAT format, tape or minidisk. This unit is very easy to use with its large, accurate, backlit LCD display and comes complete with carrying case.
Pettersson D-230 Frequency Division Detector
This combined heterodyne and fequency division detector is an ideal research detector as it allows you to tune the detector anywhere in the range 10-120kHz or switch to the division mode which will enable you to monitor all frequencies at the same time. The frequency division system is of the 'retained amplitude' type. Two 3.5mm sockets can be used to connect a set of headphones or a tape recorder. With the use of stereo headphones it is possible to hear the heterodyne call on the left channel and the frequency divisionon the right channel.
Anabat II Bat Detector
The Anabat II offers an alternative method to time expansion for the computer analysis of bat echolocation calls. The detector itself is a frequency division detector with 4 switch selectable division ratios (4,8,16,32). The unit can be used on its own or in combination with the Anabat 6 ZCA Interface Module and Software. The Anabat II delay switch automates the bat detecting equipment allowing it to be set up in the field without the presence of an operator. A temperature and humidity sensor can also be used in conjunction with the delay switch
